I produced this image in September 2020 during the California wildfires in America that caused devastation to peoples homes, wildlife and the landscape. Donald Trump dismissed concerns over climate change, and disregarded science and any link between global warming and the West Coast fires in the US.

As the fires burned, he was urged not to ‘ignore the science’, in which he replied with ‘It’ll start getting cooler, you just watch’. Before going on to say ‘I don’t think science knows’. Trump has previously called climate change “mythical”, “non-existent”, and an “expensive hoax”. As well as pulling out of the Paris climate agreement in 2017. I created these three images in response to the news and my feelings at the time.
